2011 Summer Anime Season Opinions and Recommendations… Thus Far

Whee!!! The summer season is upon us and as always, I have yet to finish most of my previous season’s anime. But, considering that I still have one month of Summer Vacation left, I was able to, believe it or not, watch the first episodes of most of the anime on offer this season!

A feat deserving of a standing ovation… if I do say so myself. Anyways, here are my brief opinions on this season’s shows based solely on the first episode together with my rating.

It’s the holiday season and as you can see, I’ve been letting myself go… In more ways than one. What with discounts abound at every online store, I’ve received three orders from the three different hobby stores I frequent, Hobby Search, AmiAmi and Hobby Link Japan respectively. Finally got that YF-19 to accompany my YF-21 that I got 11 months ago.

Possibly more loot on the way~ It’s gonna be an awesome but lonely Christmas this year. (^.^)

Rounding up the trio of Robot Damashii Evangelion figures is Rei’s Eva Unit 00. It would have been a perfect figure release if it were not for one small flaw that has nothing to do with the actual figure itself.

Review: 1/8 Scale Himeji Mizuki by Chara-Ani

Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu is undoubtedly one one of the better comedies these past few seasons, along with Mitsudomoe. …and finally, after a couple of months, we are finally greeted with a stunning figure of one of the two main female protagonists, Himeji Mizuki, produced by Chara-Ani.
