A quadruple month update is finally here! Venture forth into the longer than usual update post as I share with you the stuff I got and my opinions on them! As I don’t really want to flood the front page with a barrage of pictures, do click on the button below to view the post in its entirety.
It’s the grand and glorious revival of the acquisitions posts! I haven’t done one of these in ages and I really do want to get these back up and running. If anything, it will be an easy way to keep my blog afloat in these troubled waters of other commitments. Despite me not posting them, I have been taking pictures and diligently taking records of all the stuff I’ve been purchasing for the past year and a half (more or less) and I do hope to put them all into one ginormous loot post sometime in the very near future.
Alrighty. I just had the honor of being one of the first in the world to watch the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha The Movie 2nd A’s and here are my initial impressions on it.. I’m actually writing this in a Starbucks outlet just next to the movie theater and my thoughts are all over the place. So I apologize for the not-in-order point form writing in the ‘impressions’ part. (Yeah, it took awhile to get this on to the net… internet access here is not that readily available to a foreigner…)
As always, THERE ARE SPOILERS! While the main plot remains practically the same, there were quite significant changes made to the events. So, if you don’t mind spoilers, do feel free to read on. (^.^)
Update 1: Proofread the post and updated some of the points.
Update 2: More fine-tuning, expanded and clarified some points, added a couple of design comparison pictures and everything is now in chronological order.
Magical Girls aren’t Magical Girls without fearsome adversaries to fight. Thanks to Movic, our Madoka Figma figures can finally duel to the death with the bizarre, otherworldly and unconventionally designed Witches.
A quick look at one of the better movie premiums to be offered up for grabs during the release of the hit K-On! Movie.
For a change of pace, and for the sake of entertainment, I bring to you something that I have never done in on this channel before – Singing. Sit back and relax as I risk life, limb and reputation to sing one of my favorite Anime songs, Koi no Mikuru Densetsu! I do hope you enjoy it as it honestly took a ton of time and effort to complete. (^.^;) Think of it as an early Christmas present to you all.
If you ask me why I like this song, I don’t think I’ll be able to give you a clear answer. Perhaps its because of the memorably horrendous and yet hilarious movie that the SOS Dan made. Or perhaps it’s because of Mikuru’s adorable voice and the song’s silly lyrics that always bring a smile to my face in times of stress.
After a slew of delays, the PSP To Aru Kagaku no Railgun PSP game has finally been released, bringing along everyone’s favorite Ero-Teleporter, Shirai Kuroko to join her beloved Onee-sama in Figma form.
Bonus pictures and the actual review after the jump!
She’s here! The long awaited and highly anitcipated Figma Homura from the much loved (and loathed) Puella Magi Madoka Magica is finally available to the hoards of screaming Homu Homu fans.
Does she live up to all the hype? Can GSC do no wrong? Will she ever find her missing hat? Let’s find out.
I’m back after a long hiatus with another Madoka review! This time, we take a look at something rather unusual – a transforming plush toy of the cheese loving, head biting Witch of Sweets, Charlotte!
The best concept for a plush toy ever? Most definitely.
POSSIBLE SPOILERS! Here’s a portion of the Figma Madoka review that was cut out due to its length. It’s basically me giving my opinions on the show Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
Written version after the jump.
