The funny thing about the phrase ‘time flies’ is that you really never seem to notice it until you look back on the events and days that have passed you by. And just like that, in the blink of an eye, another brilliant series, Nichijou, has come to a close. Unequivocally one of the best shows this past few seasons, along with Steins;Gate and Kaiji.

Whee!!! The summer season is upon us and as always, I have yet to finish most of my previous season’s anime. But, considering that I still have one month of Summer Vacation left, I was able to, believe it or not, watch the first episodes of most of the anime on offer this season!
A feat deserving of a standing ovation… if I do say so myself. Anyways, here are my brief opinions on this season’s shows based solely on the first episode together with my rating.

The Disappearance of Suzumiya Haruhi. One of the most anticipated Anime movies of 2010 from the mega-popular franchise, Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu (The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi) is finally here on Blu-Ray and DVD!
In this video, I not only take a look at the Limited Edition Blu-Ray set of the movie, but also give my brief opinions of the movie.

A fanwork of unbelievable awesomeness! The premise of the fan animation is: What would happen if Invader Zim landed next to Haruhi’s school? For those of you who don’t know what Invader Zim is, it’s a fantastic American TV series that aired on Nickelodeon (about an alien named Zim trying to invade Earth) quite some time back that I personally really enjoyed.
