For a change of pace, and for the sake of entertainment, I bring to you something that I have never done in on this channel before – Singing. Sit back and relax as I risk life, limb and reputation to sing one of my favorite Anime songs, Koi no Mikuru Densetsu! I do hope you enjoy it as it honestly took a ton of time and effort to complete. (^.^;) Think of it as an early Christmas present to you all.
If you ask me why I like this song, I don’t think I’ll be able to give you a clear answer. Perhaps its because of the memorably horrendous and yet hilarious movie that the SOS Dan made. Or perhaps it’s because of Mikuru’s adorable voice and the song’s silly lyrics that always bring a smile to my face in times of stress.
While my 21st Birthday is technically on the 29th of June, I had a pretty extravagant celebration with numerous family and friends this past Friday. Being a pretty special occasion (as 21st Birthdays usually are), a pretty special decoration cake was made with none other than adorable Loli Fate! (^o^)
The cake is gigantic. The picture of Fate is made by putting together numerous individually colored pieces of fondant icing. The effect is simply phenomenal. The cake itself is made of fondant, marzipan (almond icing) and regular cake with layers of cream with strawberries.
Apologies for not providing any more pictures, but in the flurry of excitement and proceedings, the cake was chopped up and devoured before I had the chance to do so. (^.^;)
You could say that I literally ate Fate out. (The jokes keep getting worse and worse don’t they?)
Birthday loot (and everything else I got this month) soon!
After nearly 7 years of using my old laptop, an Acer Ferrari 4000 laptop, as my main machine, I decided that it was time for an upgrade. Presenting my brand new desktop set up. (^.^) Hopefully, I’ll be able to use this one for a good long time to come.
Most of my figures have been moved off the shelf, being replaced by Fate, the CPU itself and my external HDs. Do excuse the horrendous mess as I’m right in the middle of arranging everything to accommodate my new computer.
Evidently, someone has applied a photoshop makeover to one of the pictures I took at Comiket 77 of this Remilia Cosplayer. Well, that’s the internet for you. Don’t know whether it is an honor or an insult. At least they could have left the watermark. (^.^;)
A day before the grand event that is Anime Festival Asia 08, I was invited to the press conference where we got a sneak preview of the convention. We had a chance to see the 5 guests that have travelled all the way from Japan to make a special appearance at AFA08.
So, today’s the day I got to meet one of my idols, Danny Choo! Most people would know that he owns and runs one of the most popular Anime blogs/website http://www.dannychoo.com. He is also the president of his own company Mirai Inc which is an Internet Solutions Company. Awesome.
