I suppose you guys are tired of girls constantly dominating my reviews, so, I’ve decided that it’s time to get MANLY. And what better way to do so than to delve into one of the most manly, super-popular shonen Action/Adventure manga epics, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.
Today, we’ll be taking a look at the main hero and titular character of Part 3: Stardust Crusaders, Jotaro Kujo as he is represented in Medicos’ Super Action Statue line.
Awesome, you responded to my request! Ok, I’m essentially certain that this had nothing to do with my request, but I’m still glad to see it. Can’t wait to see the rest of the cast. Also, I hate to nitpick, but I find it necessary to point out that you called it “bimyou na bouken” instead of “kimyou na bouken.” I don’t actually speak Japanese, but to my understanding, “JoJo no Bimyou na Bouken” would be something along the lines of “JoJo’s Subtle Adventure.” Which is pretty funny, actually.
What did you mean when you said the movie had faded out of existence?
@ Archangel Shear: Ah yes, that was a mistake on my part as I had accidentally mistyped Kimyo as Bimyo in my script and didn’t realize it when recording the review. (^.^;)
Regarding the Phantom Blood Movie, an adaptation of the first part of the manga as a full Animated movie, it was aired in Japanese theaters in 2006 and has yet to be released on DVD. From what I understand, there were some disagreements between Araki and the producers of the movie regarding the fact of the removal of the name ‘Speed Wagon’ from it to avoid copyright infringement. Another rumor is that they went ahead and produced the movie without Araki’s approval and he didn’t like it.
Whatever the case, the movie’s DVD release is doubtful and a CAM rip of the movie doesn’t exist. Such a shame, but such is life.
Oh, you use a script?
Huh. I always ad-lib my videos. Should use a script next time to make them sound better XD XD XD Augh, I’m such a dork!
